Equalities

The last five years have seen major changes in legislation relating to religion and belief, sexual orientation, gender, disability and race and age. The new equality body – Equality and Human Rights Commission - opened its doors on October 1st 2007 and this signalled a major change in how equalities issues will be addressed, championed and enforced.

This increasingly complex area has led many public bodies to look for assistance to deliver effective services to an increasingly diverse workforce and the wider community. We offer expert equalities advice and bespoke solutions and have assisted a range of clients including:

  • former Scottish Executive Education Department
  • former Department for Education and Skills
  • former Department for Education and Lifelong Learning in Wales
  • Constructionskills
  • PATH Scotland
  • Glasgow Anti-racist Alliance
  • East Lothian Council
