Measuring Confidence in the Welsh Qualifications System

The purpose of this five-year research project was to measure the impact of Qualifications Wales (the independent regulator of qualifications in Wales) on levels of confidence in qualifications and the Welsh qualification system.

The project involved a large-scale annual programme of primary research, delivered primarily through telephone consultations, with teachers, pupils, educationalists, qualifications experts and sector bodies. Public perceptions were being explored through an annual omnibus survey of 1,000 randomly selected adults across Wales.
